LIGHTHOUSE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12th January 2026

At LIGHTHOUSE, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services, specifically focusing on our event-driven architecture designed to minimize data exposure.

Our Privacy Philosophy: Connect Your App, Not Your Database

Unlike traditional customer success platforms that require direct access to your production database, LIGHTHOUSE operates on a privacy-first, event-driven model. We only see the events and user activities you explicitly choose to send via our SDK or Pixel, ensuring we never have access to your private records or underlying data structures.

Information We Collect

1. Event Data (Behavioral)

We collect behavioral data sent via the LIGHTHOUSE Pixel or SDK, such as page views, clicks, and custom event triggers (e.g., "onboarding_completed"). This data is used to calculate behavioral analytics and trigger interventions.

2. User Identification

We store minimized user profiles (User IDs and optional emails) to associate events with specific accounts, enabling personalized AI interventions and playbook execution.

3. Account Information

When you register as a founder or admin, we collect your business email, name, and billing information to manage your LIGHTHOUSE project and subscription.

How We Use Your Information

AI Interventions & Insights

We use the information we collect to:
  • Generate real-time Strategic Analytics for your customers.
  • Power our AI Agent (LightKeeper) to suggest and execute playbooks.
  • Trigger UI interventions (Toasts, Spotlights, Banners) within your application.
  • Simulate "Ghost Mode" interventions for your review.

Data Security & Minimization

We implement industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Because we do not store your entire database, the scope of data stored by LIGHTHOUSE is significantly narrower than traditional alternatives, reducing the potential impact of any security incident.

Data Retention

We retain event data for as long as necessary to provide historical behavioral insights and support our AI learning models. You can request the deletion of historical event logs or specific user data at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your data. For any privacy-related requests or inquiries regarding our data processing, please contact us at support@meetlighthouse.com.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes via email or a notice on our platform.

By using LIGHTHOUSE, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our event-driven privacy model and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
